Classic One-Day Sales

Macy’s is known for its One-Day Sale, which is, however, a two-day event. Every year, the sale happens on the third Saturday of the month. A preview day takes place on Friday, so shop on Friday morning for the best range.

Semi-Annual Sales

Although there aren’t any specific dates for these, these sales always happen during January and July. Expect deals of 25%-75% off on everything, plus an additional 10%-15% if you’re applying a promo code while shopping.

Black Friday in July Sale

You can now have additional savings the day after Thanksgiving. To get more shoppers, Macy’s and other retailers slash prices to all-time lows. There will be sales across all departments, but the best deals will be offered on apparel, home goods, and fine jewelry.

Friends and Family Sale

This sale, which happens in late spring and early summer and then in December, is quite a good one. You get flat 30% off on everything (sale, designers, and clearance), plus an extra 10%-25% off across select departments.

There’s usually a promo code to get an extra 30% off select and regular-priced items already on sale. Almost everything in the store, from shoes, handbags, and fashion to small appliances, jewelry, and furniture, is included in the sale. Moreover, shipping is free on orders of $25 or more.

Price Match

Under Price Match, if an item you’ve bought is up for sale at a lower price within ten days of purchase, Macy’s will give you back the money you overpaid. Although this one requires some extra work, once you get the hang of it, you’re going to want to continue making the best of it.
