Sony’s PlayStation Plus subscription service has a bunch of new titles available to PS5 and PS4 players in January 2021. We give you the scoop on what you can expect with these awesome deals. Note that all these games will be available only until February 1, 2021.
Maneater (PS5 version)
Take on the high seas and a terrifying shark in the single-player, open-world action RPG. A player begins as a young shark and then slowly eats, hunts, battles, and conquers this unique breath-taking ecosystem. The game is structured like a battle for survival that meets evolution. The hook for this PS5 applicable game is that the player can tailor the shark to their play style and evolve beyond the limits of reality and the imagination.
Shadow of the Tomb Raider (PS4 game)
Shadow of the Tomb Raider is the final installment in the Lara Croft trilogy and players can’t get enough of this absorbing PS4 game. Lara Croft’s adventure this time around is saving the world from a Mayan Apocalypse. The universe of the game is lush, unforgiving, and terrifying. Players must fight, explore, craft, solve clues, discover tombs, and navigate puzzles to survive against dangerous threats.
Greedfall (PS4)This action-fantasy RPG allows players into a game universe styled as a remote and magical island. You can use diplomacy, deception, stealth, spells, magic, and of course, gunplay to master this world even as you meet and form alliances with or make enemies of the fantastic creatures that inhabit it. Gamers love Greedfall for its exceptionally well-written quests. These quests and missions tactfully take on serious themes like the institutionalized abuse of soldiers and forced re-education of the indigenous characters. The animation in this game is eye-catching and the crafting elements allow for a fair bit of customization.
